Our 100% grass fed lamb comes from our friend and fellow farmer Ben Daniels. He rears ryeland sheep, a traditional british breed, well known for producing excellent quality lamb and great tasting meat. Only ever eating grass throughout their lives, they take slightly longer to finish and so produce a lovely fat covering that's full of flavour.
Packed full of flavour! Lamb shoulder is a low slow cooking piece of meat. With slow cooking the lamb shoulder will simply fall off the bone. The best bit about cooking a lovely whole piece of meat like lamb shoulder is that you get some leftovers to shred up and use in salads, wraps, pastas... you name the dish.
